I have been a producer on a dozen feature films all with budgets under $100k. This video is probably the most important thing I can teach. How to get great production value on a no-budget feature, the key is to get great sound. Sound is the most important and one of the cheapest things to do right. The great news is that the technology doesn't change much unlike video and 4k or DSLR ect. Every year there is a new gadget to buy. Why you shouldn't follow what everyone else is doing. How micro budgets are different. Because they are different you need to do things differently. Fire the boom operator and put the mic on a stand. I also went over the sound package that I use. And the best tips I can give you about the mistakes I made. Be sure to turn off computers, cell phones, Air (AC/Heat), close doors, kick all non essential personnel off set, Close windows, and unplug refrigerators.
