The song Jungle Fever charted in the winter-early spring of 1972 and would go all the way to the #8 position on the Billboard Hot 100. The Chakachas were a band of Belgian studio musicians, who got together, recorded some tunes and then went their separate ways. Polydor Records later released those recordings and "Jungle Fever" became a big hit.
