With another underground Streetbeefs fight a week away, I thought I would experiment with vlogging to chronicle my preparation. I don't have a ton of time to train, so I try to be very efficient with my workouts. Big muscle groups and compound movements are key. Also, keeping it simple is very important, particularly if you are older and have injuries. This is my final strength and conditioning session before the fight. The workout: Warmup: Row 500m Some dumbbell stuff (not shown) Back Squat: 155 (my bodyweight) 3 X 10 Ring Pushups: 5 X 20 Ring Rows 3 X 10 Ring Dips 3 X 10 Warm up with 10 pullups Explosive/Ninja Warrior things x 10 (I do this to make my clinching stronger) Pullup variations: 5 x 10 with isometric/showoff bullshit in the last set. Then we push my truck back and forth until we can't anymore. My preworkout: amzn.to/2jQdMFD My postworkout: amzn.to/2I5mtL7 Revgear Centurion Fight Shorts (provided by Revgear): revgear.com/centurion-fight-shorts/?aff=8 They are not just good for MMA. They're great for working out. The rower: amzn.to/2ryUQie Those cool barbell collars: amzn.to/2ryDgLu Olympic Rings: amzn.to/2jLww9m Shoes: amzn.to/2I4JI86 Musis is Dead Critic! by Zombies (From The Dust Remix) Used under Creative Commons License: creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode Check out Streetbeefs: www.youtube.com/user/yungxcraven Follow Mike: Facebook: www.facebook.com/icymikep Twitter: twitter.com/IcyMikeP Instagram: www.instagram.com/icymikep Icy Mike and Passive Jay Podcast: icymike.libsyn.com/ DISCLAIMER: This video and description contain affiliate links, which means that if you click on them, hard2hurt receives a small commission.
