So, I work for a local TV station and I had to shoot a silly interstitial thing at a boxing club. The female host of the TV show learned tips and tricks from the instructors. I shot it and lit it very conventionally with my "pro" camera. After we wrapped and packed my gear back into the van, I broke out my GH1 and stuck around to shoot some things. Let's just say what I got with the GH1 in available light is ten times better than what I shot with my "pro" camera. I attached a c-mount adapter to the GH1. I shot everything with a 25mm Switar, which is a lens for a 16mm Bolex camera. The vignetting is severe, but I decided it looked cool. Color Correction is done in FCP using Tiffen Digital Filter Suite. It's basically a slight bleach bypass and I pushed the shadows into the blue. Music: "Count to Ten" by Tina Dico.
