The 2013 Quiksilver Pro France champion Mick Fanning took out Brazil's Gabriel Medina in the Final to take the title and the lead in the ASP World Title Race. Some of the biggest airs and perfect rides seen in contests this year were thrown down on the Finals day as a result of the epic heat draws. Fanning consecutively outsurfed Hawaiian phenomenon John John Florence and Joel Parkinson on his way to the final, where he found himself backed up against the wall against Medina. The two-time World Champ stuck to his game plan though. Mick attacked a bumpy righthander with all his power to scalp an 8.83 and as a result stole the show. quiksilverlive.com quiksilver.com
