Week 36 of a series I'm calling "52 Licks." 1 new jazz phrase each week. This week's phrase comes to us via Billy Higgins. I've never heard this guy play a bad note. One of those guys that just always sounds RIGHT. Love it. This is a lick he plays frequently and I've heard others use as well. Lots of variations and flexibility.
