This is a live studio cover of Donny Hathaway's 1970 release called "The Ghetto." I produced this track with my compadre David Sa who played bass. We recorded the track at Benny' Wash n' Dry in Brooklyn, NY. We kept the jazzy instrumental vibe (minus vocals) and added a bass solo and a Wurlitzer electric piano played by Bennet Pastor.
