So, we were playing a gig in London a few weeks back and were kindly invited to the NewScientist HQ to speak with author Michael Brooks. We're interested in how science is handled by politicians here in the UK, so we were very thankful to Dr. Brooks for answering some of our questions. We also quizzed him on some other subjects, check out the bonus video to hear his thoughts on how science has been intentionally portrayed as boring in the media following WWII in order to sooth public fear of scientists. If you are a scientists or politicians or know of any who would love to speak to us about the role of evidence in policy making, then we'd love to hear from you.
