Where either logical or evil extraterrestrials usually invade the Earth in order to enslave or wipe it out its populace, steal its resources or use its population as plant fertilizer. So for this video I’m going to be focusing on trying to get a nice variation in invasion types, so from high schools up to city scale events. The story kicks off when they all start to notice that the staff are behaving rather oddly, where they discover there’s more to this strange behavior than meets the eye. Director Fred Dekker’s alien invasion Comedy Horror, Night of the creeps (1986) In 1959 an alien vessle crashes on earth, where its contents infects a local passerby. Now over 20 years later in the 1980’s as a part of their fratenity inititaion, two nerdy freshmen are sent to a morg to pickup a corpse. What they don’t realise is that one of these frozen cadavers isn’t as dead as they might think. Director Edgar Wright’s alien invasion Action comedy, The world’s end (2013) 5 friends who slowly became separated over time are reunited in an attempt to finish an incomplete pub crawl from their youth. As they try to patch up their past and present, they unwittingly discover that they’re humanity's last hope for survival, and that completeing the pub crawl isn’t their main concern. Director Peter Yates’s, alien invasion action fantasy, Krull (1983) The Planet Krull faces annihilation from alien beings, who are led by an omnipotent Beast who invades other planets using his dark fortress. The story follows a prince and a fellowship of unlikely compaions who are on a mission to save his bride and stop this monster from destroying his Kingdom. Director Tobe Hooper’s alien invasion Mystery Horror, Lifeforce (1985) When a space shuttle mission investigating Halley's Comet brings back alien vampires to Earth. It's up to an astronaut and a determined police inspector to attempt to capture a beautiful but mysterious alien woman who appears responsible for strange events that are happening in London. Director John Brunos alien invasion Horror thriller, Virus (1999) Follows the crew of an American salvage team, who board a seemingly abandoned Russian research vessel in hopes to claim it for a large finders fee. But they soon discover from the only Russian surriver they find, that they need to get of this ship before it’s too late. Director John Carpenter’s alien invasion sci-fi horror, They live (1988) Follows a drifter who’s down on his luck and looking for work. Eventually finding a job at a construction site, he discovers a pair of special sunglasses, that allow him to see the world as it really is. Freaked out by his new discovery he becomes determined to find the origin of these sunglasses. Director Rob Letterman’s alien invasion Animated adventure, Monsters vs Aliens (2009) After been struck by a meteorite on her wedding day, a young woman called susan is transformed into a giant. After been abducted by the U.S. government, Susan joins a team of monsters who are sent to stop a hostile alien threat - whos goals appear to be a mystery.
