When I was 8, 9-year old I was always a performer and at school, I always told jokes. I always wanted the attention, I always was, wanted to be in the little place of the school, I went to a performing art school, I love to be on the stage, I loved to take dance lessons, I adored the stage, anything could be the stage, my living-room was the stage, the street, playing with my friends that was the stage, the school, you know that was stage .and parallel to that music was like my secret refuge in the adolescence. I used to close my door and put all these LP ’s. I used to close my door and stay 4,5 hours there, singing again and again. Man of La Mancha, Cuban songs, the Dschungelbook, Cri-Cri etc. And then, one day in my life, I realized that my passion for the stage and my way of expressing myself through music could come together. That was the opera and that day I became a tenor.”
