The Cause Of Your Summer Allergies - Giant Ragweed

submitted by healthbleep.com on 04/16/18 1

Summertime is here and for many that means summer allergies, something people always blame on the Goldenrod when in reality it is the Ragweeds. There are two types of Ragweeds in the United States and today we cover the Giant Ragweed. An obnoxious, allergy inducing plant that grows prolifically along the edge of fields and is common in the corn belt of the U.S. This video aims to help you identify it so you can decide whether to let it grow or not, chances are if you have allergies in the summer this is causing it. Growing up to fifteen feet in height and with it's leaves becoming larger than a hand it's easy to see why it's called Giant Ragweed. This plant can have many variations in it's leaf structure and sometimes even it's growing pattern. A member of the Aster family and an Ambrosia species this plant's pollen is what causes the reactions in humans. It supposedly has medicinal uses but we do not talk about any of those, just cautionary information. I thank you for watching this video I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you learned something.
