Misdiagnosed as Lazy Eye - Strabismus Treatment w/o Surgery as Adult

submitted by Doctor Multimedia on 04/11/18 1

Rachel was misdiagnosed as having amblyopia or lazy eye as a child. She was told that it was "too late" for strabismus surgery or lazy eye patching for her. As an adult, Rachel was diagnosed with intermittent exotropia strabismus, anismetropia, convergence insufficiency, no depth perception, eye tracking and eye teaming problems, etc. Rachel later discovered Vision Therapy and as a result now has 3D binocular vision and depth perception (stereoscopic vision). Rachel wants everyone to know that life really is better in 3D!
