Daniel and his Mom describe the many symptoms of his eyes/vision diagnosis Convergence Insufficiency. Daniel was also diagnosed with Visual Motor Deficits, Developmental Delays and Sensory Integration Deficits, including Retained Primitive Reflexes. Daniel's symptoms of Convergence Insufficiency also included headaches, eyestrain, problems with reading fluency, speed and test scores. Daniel had severe problems with organization. He was always losing, misplacing things, couldn't find things in his room. He also lost his place and skipped lines while reading. He had to reread things over and over. He has poor balance, a stiff awkward gait, clumsy coordination, avoids sports. Daniel did his Vision Therapy with Dr. Rose Hopkins in Greenville, SC at www.hopkinseyecenter.com.
