The Manitoba government has decided to grant to Manitoba Child and Family Services the guardianship of the two children of couple who are white supremacists . This is the first time a couple has lost their parental rights because of their ideology. Granted, they couple were apparently weird (the mother sent her daugter to school with swastikas and white power slogans writte on her body), but I still think this is a dangerous move that sets a precedent in allowing the government to remove children from a home the parents' ideology alone. NOTE: I am NOT in support of white supremacist ideology or any kind of ideology that promotes hatred.
