** UPDATE: A lot of viewers have asked why the Ylang Ylang left an oily stain. Some base notes will leave a stain - even 100% pure oils. So this applies to other base note oils like ginger, sandalwood, etc. Plus, some coloured oils (e.g. orange, blue chamomile) can also leave a stain. The paper test is NOT scientific or reliable by itself, it's just ONE thing you can do, taking into account all the other factors outlined in this video.
