There are those who use religious as a disastrous force of violence and those who use it to provide civic solutions in the age of heightened political polarization. Richard Mouw, president of Fuller Theological Seminary, says the second group of people is crucial today. In this lecture, Mouw draws from the Hebrew Scriptures, the Quran, the Bible and more religious writings to emphasize that religious conviction can be the genesis of a long-lasting and interpersonal relationship with the common good.
