In celebration of Opera Africa's eighteenth year in existence, excerpts from some of Opera Africa's previously staged opera productions were performed under the direction of Prof. A Gobbato with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Timothy Myers at the South African State Theatre (Pretoria). Opera Africa featured South African stars Fikile Mvinjelwa (baritone) currently with the Metropolitan Opera, Kelebogile Boikanyo (soprano) Opera Africa Associate Artist & 2012 Standard Bank Young Artist Awardee.
