Abstain is our July 2014 re-edit of an oldie, but a goodie :) This video seeks to portray a conceptual figure who is an unmarried, sexually active young male. He has sexual relations with multiple partners and carries this baggage around with him wherever he goes (portrayed by the many shoes tied to his shoes). We are hoping that the severity and seriousness of this behavior is evident when the main character gets confronted by his promiscuity. He is then convicted by the random leaflet which falls at his feet in a single, life changing moment. The ending is open-ended and intend for discussion between youth and young adult group meetings whereby they can engage in the reasons why this behavior is against biblical principals, and thereby leading to the understanding and application of the verse used to base this video on. 1 Corinthians 6, verses 18-20 reads: Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
