Lowering himself down, he attempted to catch the Indian Spectacled cobra from the water. Failing twice to catch the slippery serpent, it took Sanil several hours to succeed. Finally securing the nearly six-foot-long male cobra, Sanil ascended out of the well. Once out, the snake was carefully placed inside a bag and transported to a nearby forest. Growing up to 18 feet long, the cobra is one of the most venomous snakes on earth.
