www.longplays.org Played By: Tsunao 2D Mario game by Nintendo. Something about a party and a cake. Peach gets kidnapped...AGAIN! Mario, "that green guy", Yvan, and Wolley (or Bucken-Berry and Ala-Gold.) go on a grand adventure! Plays like New Super Mario Bros., but has 4-player mode, waggle controls, friggin' Airships, and friggin' YOSHI! New power-ups include the Ice Flower, Propeller Mushroom, and Penguin Suit (think Ice Flower but more awesomer: no sliding on icy surfaces AND rocks in underwater segments). This game's difficulty is ASS!! I ragequit a few times. For this longplay...playthrough...whatever, I aim for 5 sparkling stars on the file, which is pretty much 100%. Stars are obtained by: clearing the game, clearing all normal levels (I believe Worlds 1-8), getting all Star Coins in Worlds 1-8, getting all Star Coins in World 9, and finding every single exit and taking the Warp Cannons. Sparkling stars are obtained by not spawning the Super Guide. It appears when you lose five times in a stage and the game will offer to complete the stage for you. Super Guide does not appear in World 9. I also abuse the Koopa hop to get 99 Lives (which I REALLY don't need. The game gives you TONS of lives and the game was easier since I already completed it.). Lives lost are either intentional or just plain fails. -_-
