Mornas Castle France & Chevaliers de Saint-Jean de Jerusalem or The Order of the Knights of Malta

submitted by maxplayer on 03/22/14 1

Mornas is a 10th century castle in the south of France. Raymond V had to surrender his castle in 1209, because of the crusades against the Cathars. Interesting enough in 1274 the castle was given just before the foundation of Switzerland by the Templars in 1291 to the Chevaliers de Saint-Jean de Jerusalem better known under the name of the Order of the Knights of Malta.
