This is a great tit and its beak is missing an upper mandible. Beaks grow like nails. And they wear out with use. That’s why the lower mandible is so long. Soft food, like cake, helps it survive. We like to think it’s celebrating for surviving winter. A Missing Upper Beak Doesn’t Stop This Little Bird From Eating Cake youtu.be/SDfwVvZzT8w Nat Geo Wild www.youtube.com/user/NatGeoWild
