Faerie Tale Theatre 23: Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp
I wanted to upload my favorite episodes of this show and creative wise and this one is a creatively designed take on the story of Aladdin and happens to be directed by a then up-and-coming Tim Burton. PLOT: Aladdin (Revenge of the Nerds actor Robert Carradine, best known as Lizzie McGuire's dad) is conned by a wicked sorcerer (Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy) into retrieving a magic lamp. However, the sorcerer's plan backfires and Aladdin ends up with the lamp and control of the genie (James Earl Jones) inside. Also featuring Valerie Bertinelli (Hot in Cleveland) as Aladdin's love interest Princess Sabrina and Joseph Maher (the priest from the first Sister Act and the narrator from the FTT Cinderella episode) as the sultan.
