So easy to get yourself lost in Australia if you leave the main roads. We were stuck for about two hours driving round and round trying to get ourselves out. This is an edited version of our experience. Advice is do not go wondering around the tracks unless you have food, water, a compass a map and a mobile phone or you could really get yourself into a lot of trouble.
