Car Accidents | Long Beach | 562-420-8884 | Lifting Injuries

A lot of people are confused as to why we look at the spine in both the standing and seated position. The issue here is, are we studying a non-injury position and injury position? In most cases, people come in from seated injury situations such as car accidents, slip and falls, forward bending lifting injury or sitting all day at your computer. If we then take an x-ray standing, we miss that complete injury. So in our protocol we are going to look at the spine in both the standing position and seated position to get to clarity as to what really is going on with that person that we are seeing in our office.
