Driven behavior is not healthy for a spine. What is healthy for a spine is understanding that energy is vital. And if our energy is low, we need to slow it down and allow energy to come back. The goal should be how can we do the things we want to do and save energy while we do that. And we should keep our focus in on saving energy, not depleting energy. And with driven patterns of behavior, they never focus in on having energy in reserve. And so when energy is exhausted completely, the person goes into an immune compromised state, and they become sick. And so we really want to encourage people to slow it down, to understand that the answer is not pushing yourself to complete exhaustion.
