Just this week, the DEA accidentally forgot a young man in a holding cell for 4 days after a raid at a 4:20 part, and cops participating in a 'Drug Recognition Expert' training program were caught picking up young people, smoking them up, and dropping them back off at Peavey Plaza 'high as f*ck', as one 'volunteer' put it. Recently, a 29 year-old woman also died in a jail cell after being refused medical treatment and hauled off to the police station for being a suspected drug-seeker. It turned out she suffered from mental illness and had deadly blood clots in her legs, which migrated to her lungs and killed her.
