A biotech company is asking the Canadian government for permission to start growing GMO apples in Canada and if they have their way, they will be here by 2014. And they know that consumers don't want them, but they don't care! For them the bottom line is making as much money as possible. Be aware of this, because if this goes through, products like apple juice are likely to be made with these new non-browning apples.
