Comedy film about a girl called Suzie Gold who is a twenty-something Jewish girl from Hampstead Garden Suburb in North London, her sister Sophie is about to get married, and the pressure is on for Suzie to follow suit. Her family have traditional views about marrying out of faith, and they soon set her up with Anthony Silver-the "perfect" Jewish candidate in their eyes. However, after a disastrous date, Suzie realises there is no connection between them. Then, when Suzie gets a job at a TV station, she meets and falls for gorgeous Darren, but there is one major problem...........Darren isn't Jewish!
