Unwed Father is an insightful, heartfelt drama about the trials and tribulations of young parenthood and the joy and pain of growing up. Jason Kempler (Brian Austin Green) is a regular teenage boy: he loves girls, his band and having fun. But his carefree existence comes to an abrupt end when a one-night stand leads to unexpected fatherhood. Jason wants nothing to do with the mother, Melanie (Nicholle Tom), or the child, and he is shocked when Melanie leaves the newborn baby on his doorstep and disappears. His situation is further complicated when his father and stepmother turn him and the baby out of the house, believing that the time has come for Jason to accept some responsibility for his actions – and for his life. The more time Jason spends with his baby, the more he comes to love fatherhood. When Melanie suddenly reappears and wants her baby back, Jason is devastated: He cannot imagine his life without his son.
