My son likes to run like a bat outa hell. Or like Forest Gump, you could say. If you find this nerve-wracking to watch. imagine how I feel. HOWEVER please remember that he is a SMART 6-year-old, not a baby, and he knows not to run into the street. I can trust him with that, even on a skateboard. He will NEVER cross without me (although he will make me run across once I get there). His behavior is NOT due to lack of parenting. Please don't tell me to yell at him, spank, put him on a leash etc. You cannot put a 6 year old on a leash.
