You don't have to be autistic or a child to benefit from dietary changes- it can help just about anyone. If you are stuck in a rut, I would highly recommend the books of John McCabe that address how to change both your thinking and your diet. Tackling these together can bring about dramatic personal transformation. My accountant used to be so ornery and nutty I dreaded going to see him and my taxes were always late. I ran into him in the street the other day and he was completely changed!! Not only radiating light, love and positivity, but even physically handsome and attractive. What had happened? The amazing power of raw foods had transformed him! (I still haven't gotten my taxes done, but when I do I'm sure it will be a much more pleasant experience.)
