Remy Ma and Nicki’s beef continues thanks to some serious shade Remy threw at Nicki during her BET awards acceptance speech. After winning Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards for the past seven years in a row, Nicki Minaj lost to none other than her rap nemesis, Remy Ma. Remy took to the stage and after giving a heartfelt thanks to BET and her husband Papoose, she proceeded to quote some lyrics from the song “Spaghetti”, which was definitely a not-so-subtle diss aimed at Nicki. Nicki and Remy have been throwing shade at each other ever since Remy released the diss track “Shether” earlier this year, which she then followed up with the song “Another One”. Nicki responded to those tracks with a few shots at Remy on the song “No Frauds” featuring Lil Wayne and Drake, as well as on her latest collab with Katy Perry, “Swish Swish”. So is Remy breaking Nicki’s winning streak the reason Nicki decided not to attend the show tonight? According to a source at HollywoodLife.com, avoiding all the Remy drama was definitely a factor that played into her decision. The source claimed QUOTE, “Nicki has no desire to deal with her enemy on any level...Nicki has decided to skip the BETs this year for several reasons. Avoiding the drama and headache of reigniting a feud that might come with bumping into Remy is just one of them. And besides, she’s a very busy lady with a performance at the NBA Awards scheduled for Monday.” S So it sounds like we’ll just have to wait and see if Nicki hears about Remy’s BET diss and chooses to respond.
