Caleb Brown - W$Gt$

submitted by Marvin's Underground Music Ondemand on 01/27/18 1

I'm a 17 year old hip hop artist from Baton Rouge, LA who is also co-owner of my own independent record label DO L.I.F.E. Records (Love Infinitely Forever Exiling). The song ""W$GT$"" is more of an uplifting anthem for my city I recorded & released during the heat of the Alton Sterling incident and the historic flooding that took here in Louisiana. I clearly got the acronym from one of my favorites Dom Kennedy, i just really enjoyed what it stood for and decided to look at it as paying homage to him and the OPM campaign as I mentioned him along with Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q. The video is the perfect depiction of how I try to carry myself on the regular while living in what some would call a wasteland, I see a fruitful city filled with amazing talent. As we mob through my part of town and downtown Baton Rouge I want people to understand me and my people first.. No fancy clothes, women, drugs, cars, or jewelry just the raw faces and emotions. @calebbrwnn @TheCalebBrown Soundcloud: soundcloud.com/calebbrwn" Subscribe today! www.youtube.com/user/alldefdigital?sub_confirmation=1 → CONNECT WITH ADD ← twitter.com/AllDefDigital instagram.com/AllDefDigital bit.ly/ADDfacebook bit.ly/ADDgoogleplus [CREDITS] Produced by: CMPLX The video shot, edited and directed by: Evan Kidd
