With this edit I attempted to distill the Star Wars prequels down to a single movie, that if viewed for the first time would stand on its own and make complete sense to the viewer. My goal was to present the story of Anakin Skywalker in the style of a Shakespearean tragedy, while bending Anakin's character arc from the self serving whiner in the original, to a man corrupted by vaulting ambition and immense power. I recommend viewing FALL OF THE JEDI after episodes IV and V, as if it's an extended flashback, before finishing the Anakin Skywalker saga with RETURN OF THE JEDI.
