Over the weekend, Gwen Stefani received the Hero Award at the Radio Disney Music Awards, with boyfriend Blake Shelton leading the audience in a standing ovation for her. Before the show, Stefani chatted with “Extra” on the red carpet about her country duet with Blake, which is featured on his new album. “The crazy part is as soon as I got on 'The Voice’… it forces you to be open to so many different genres of music and discover interest in different voices… I fantasized about writing with somebody in country music… I know the writers are so good, they’re such storytellers and I love tha,t so the fact that we wrote a song together is a shock and out of nowhere and he’s an incredible writer and such a talented guy. I feel so honored to be part of it.”
