Sunday night, Katy Perry spoke only to “Extra’s” special correspondent Elvis Duran, host of “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” on the red carpet of the iHeart Radio Music Awards. It was Katy's first public appearance since announcing her split from Orlando Bloom. She made it clear she is happy where she is in life, both personally and professionally, sharing, “I don't live in extremes anymore. If something goes wrong, I'm just like, 'Meh, it's fine.'” Perry added, “For the first part of my life, I was holding on for dear life. And then I was like, 'Okay, I got my footing, my balance.' And now I’m, like, surfing the rocket ship.” Taking control of who she is, the 31-year-old revealed, “I'm just seeing everything from a different viewpoint and reprioritizing. I love my thirties. I'm really embracing them.”
