Anyway this month I decided to dedicate my new video fully to the Drakengard Universe due to the up and coming release of Drakengard 3. I thought the new song from WT's Hydra album really fit. It's all about each one running from their past and their responsibilities. After witnessing the death of his parents Caim was very against the use of Dragons but relented in the end. Not only did he have to battle with his past family, but also his present one; his sister Furiae. Furiae and Caim became involved in an incestuous relationship (although not explicitly aforementioned in the Western release!). She could not handle it and killed herself and in turn killed the evil in Inuart. Manah, who witnessed the death of Furiae and antagonised Caim became a hero after making up for what she had done in the past, but Caim was just behind her. Much in the past Zero, an Intoner, believed she was the only one capable amongst her five sisters so goes after each and everyone individually, she runs from her responsibilities in order to do so. Finally, Nier, loosely linked to previous stories, is set in the distant future. Nier runs into Kaine, a half-shade plagued with the same disablility his daughter has. The sacrifice Kaine makes allows her to atone for the past and help Nier in turn. The song is And We Run by Within Temptation ft. Xzibit. Thanks again!
