Jackie Wilson, known as "Mr. Excitement," was one of the most dynamic performers in music history. His first hit single, "Reet Petite (The Finest Girl You Ever Want to Meet)" from the album He's So Fine, written by Berry Gordy, Gwen Gordy Fuqua and Roquel "Billy" Davis (Tyran Carlo), was released in August 1957 on the Brunswick label and reached #62 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 1957.
