"Twilight Time" written by The Platters' manager, Buck Ram, Morty Nevins, Al Nevins, and Artie Dunn was recorded by The Platters on Mercury Records and released in April 1958, becoming The Platters' third #1 chart on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Billboard R&B for three weeks. The group consisted of lead tenor Tony Williams, David Lynch, Paul Robi, Herb Reed, and Zola Taylor. The song can be found on the CD box set The Magic Touch Platters Anthology on the PolyGram label.
