Charted at #5 on Billboard Hot 100 in May 1958 and #5 on R&B chart. Jody only had one other Hot 100 single: "Fire of Love" (#66 in August 1958). In the UK, "Endless Sleep" charted at #4 for Marty Wilde in July 1958. Original Billboard review: "Reynolds (a cat) gives the rockaballad a winning performance. The expressive vocal stint with excellent guitar backing has a sound that could catch on." Written by Dolores Nance & Jody Reynolds. B-side is "Tight Capris".
