Written by group member Rod Argent, "Tell Her No" was the second single released by British band, The Zombies from their eponymous debut LP, "The Zombies". Sounding more than a bit Beatle-esque, "Tell Her No' was a strong follow up to the group's 1964 #2 hit, "She's Not There" and went all the way to the #6 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 for the week ending March 6, 1965 and held that position on the Cash Box Top 100 charts for two weeks.
