"Foolish Little Girl ," written by Howard Greenfield and Helen Miller, is one of my favorite songs by the Shirelles. The song, which was from the LP of the same name was released as a single and reached #4 on the Pop chart and #9 on the R&B chart in 1963. It proved to be their last big hit. The album is available on CD on the Sundazed Music label. The song can also be found on the CD, The Shirelles Anthology 1959-1964 on the Rhino label. I dedicate this to Betsy Growney.
