In the spring of 1963 I was nine years old. I used to hear older kids, mostly girls, a few grades ahead of me who had transistor radios playing this song when I was walking home from school. I liked it so well that I begged my parents for a transistor radio of my own, which I got of course. Little Peggy March's #1 May 1963 hit "I Will Follow Him" was the real start of my love affair with both pop music and rock music. There is no way on earth I would NOT do some kind of tribute video for this song. I attempt as best I can to use images associated with the newness of spring when this was a hit, along with images portraying a young girl's yearning for romance and the teen girl's naive ideation of adult romance (circa 1963, that is).
