When she was one or two years old, she was rescued by the nonprofit group Fur Friends in Need. Now, she is happily climbing mountains with her new owner. She's a seasoned adventure dog experienced in long-distance hiking, rappelling, and even zip-lining. Penni's owner says despite her abusive upbringing, she's fearless in the wild.
