Internship Interview Tips and Suggestion by : Arzoo Candidate Profile:- Name : Arzoo Educational Background:- B.Tech in Information Technology at IGI-DTU Got an offer from Amazon Development Center for the position of Software Development intern. Selected for summer internship with Amazon as Assistant Software Developer Tell us something about Amazon Development Center? Amazon is an e-commerce multinational company. It also has a large cloud computing platform. Amazon visited the campus of Indira Gandhi National University for the position of software development intern. And it’s a 6 months internship during the 8th semester. What was the placement procedure for Internship - Amazon? The placement procedure consisted of 3 rounds 1. Round one was an online round. – Consisted of 20 MCQ questions and 2 coding questions. Questions were from Data Structure, Operating System and the questions were quite complex. Whereas the coding questions were quite simple. One coding question was simple and other one was average. After that 24 students were shortlisted for the 2nd round of interview. 2 rounds of interview first round was of Technical interview. Focused on DS especially trees ERP-Binary feeds ,Diameter , Binary trees, from ERP questions on Recursion. Arzoo well-presented all the answers to the given questions. 2 round also was also a Technical round more focused on questions on Binary trees Project – Be thorough with your project Tips and suggestions for upcoming aspirants for Summer Internship:- 1. Study your core subjects thoroughly. Course material for eg:- Algorithms, Operating System, DBMS,OOPS 2. Practice coding questions from the begining 3. Get active on coding websites for eg:- hackerrank, codechef. 4. Learn to refer to any material available online for interviews 4. Learn to optimize your solution in terms of time and space complexity 3. For Aptitude round refer to indiabix.com 4. Regularly practice Quantitative Aptitude and verbal ability questions. Refer to books of R.S Agarwal. Speed is important. 5. Before going for any company do a proper study about the company. 6. Prepare a good cv. 6. Be confident and give your best
