LBJ Media had the awesome opportunity this semester to collaborate with film students from Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) in an incubator project to mentor them and create commercial pieces for their film portfolio. Luis Bardales Jr., founder and producer at LBJ Media, is an LCCC Alumni and took the lead role to guide the students through all the aspects of production. The students learned what it takes to produce a commercial video from meeting with the client, pre-production, production, and post-production. They learned many hands on skills and worked with thousands of dollars worth of professional film equipment to create this final piece. The goal of this incubator project was to give students an inside look at the entrepreneurial and marketing side of video production. They obtained a valuable experience that will benefit them in their field whether they want to work for an agency or freelance.
