A drum sander is one of those tools that I've wanted but held back on getting for quite a while. For me I just didn't have the space. Now that the shop is a little further along I'm able to start acquiring some of these tools. In this case I have a lot of projects where a drum sander makes certain processes more efficient. To start I have some table designs where planing is too difficult or chairs where sanding components would be too time consuming. Out side of a drum sander, my other options are too time consuming. Tools like this that make the process faster and prices at a level consistent with my other pieces. I've had it put together now for a little over a month and it is working great. In this video I show the process of assembling the sander from opening the packages to giving it a test run. All in all it was a simple assembly and if your able to use the sander, you'll be able to put it together. I've got a few more large pieces of equipment I'll be showing over the next month or so. One of the other tools I've already shown was my Grizzly G0513X2, here's the link to that video. youtu.be/Lhil3fP_HXM To keep up with videos, subscribe to the channel and follow along on Facebook. www.facebook.com/The-Homestead-Craftsman-151656998374912/?ref=tn_tnmn Thanks.
