Our middle school and high school students spent a week in the inner city of San Francisco serving the homeless and downtrodden. The Tenderloin District is one of the roughest areas in the city, known for its high crime rate due to poverty, drugs, and adult businesses. In the book of Mark, Jesus said whoever would be great must become a servant of all. True Christian leadership always begins with serving the real needs of other people, regardless of our differences.
