Ted Cruz was the first to speak at CPAC 2014 this morning. He started off with a joke saying that every attendee will be audited by the IRS tomorrow. He proceeded to hit back against Obama for saying there was not a smidgen of corruption in the IRS scandal. "They say if you stand for principles you lose elections," Mr. Cruz said, before adding that the party "got walloped" until the rise of the tea party in 2010. "That is a false dichotomy."
